The Thornhill Reds are moving in the right direction as an injection of youth have the future looking quite bright. The defending threepeat GTBL champs, showed fairly well at the Gold Bat tournament in Sarnia June 13-15, dropping two close games to top Ontario senior clubs, and bowing out at 1-2 on the weekend.

New faces for Thornhill in 2025 include (with last club), C Dionysius Chialtis(Toronto IBL), P Josh Dimpfel(Patrick & Henry CC), OF Tyler Hill(Seneca), P Josh Kalmin(McMaster), U Jayden Kemp(Waterloo U), P Dan Meron(Guelph U), IF Tyler Romandel(George Brown), and U Demarius Shepherd(Kankakee CC). Surrounding an already deep roster of talent, the Reds are poised for success as they head deeper into the season and players have a chance to gel with game experience.

Thornhill currently sits at 3-3 in GTBL play, and look forward to the Hap Walters tournament in mid July, where they get some exposure to other provincial rivals, and last tune up before the Provincial Tournament in Windsor early August.
