• led GTBL in innings pitched for 2 consecutive years in the mid 90's
• played for W.A.A. for 2 seasons while living in Windsor in late 90's
• won city championship in Juvenile with Thornhill in 1992
• was level 3 certified umpire for 10 years
• currently is the President and Statistician of the GTBL
• level 2 NCCP certified coach
• coached the Thornhill Midgets in 2001 and 2002
• was named Head Coach of the York Region Cannon Cup all star team 2002
• coached the Ontario Maple Leafs U18 team in 2003, which led to 6 members signing letters of intent, also winning 2 US tournaments
• Pitching coach of York University from 2004-2010, winning 2 Ontario Championships
• Coached senior boys High school basketball at Runnymede and Downsview from 2000- 2007, leading Runnymede to 2001 AA OFSSA appearance
• named Toronto High School Basketball All Star team 2 head coach in 2005

• played with the Asheville Braves of the Mountain Atlantic Collegiate Summer league (2005-2006)
• played intercounty with the Oshawa Dodgers(2004-2005)
• played 8 seasons at University of Toronto (2001-2008), captained the team (2006-2008)
• OUA champion 2001 and 2003 (Player) 2011 and 2012 (Coach)
• OUA league leader for relievers in ERA (0.00), K's, innings and appearances (2002)
• 3 time OUA academic and athletic award winner

Team Trainer/Chiropractor - Devon Ackroyd

Devon is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He has a passion for competitive swimming, having competed on the National stage and for four years in the NCAA while attending Syracuse university on a swim scholarship. He is intimately familiar with the needs of high performance athletes. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and is certified in the following areas: - Active Release Technique - Graston Technique - Kinesio-taping - Medical Acupuncture.  Devon has a passion for competitive baseball and is excited to be a part of the Reds staff.
